FAQ - questions and answers

frequently asked Questions...

... in a nutshell - without ifs and buts...
Honest, serious, reliable - thats Speedkit!

1) Damages the Speedkit my engine or ancillaries?
No. Speedkit chip tuning complies with all maximum vehicle manufacturer limits. Thus, one can exclude an overuse of the engine and the ancillaries.

2) Is included everything I need to install it?
Yes. Everything you need for mounting the Speedkit is already included in the delivery. There is no need for a special tool.

3) I have no car knowledge. Can I do the installation myself??
Normally yes. The installation instructions included with the delivery are written in such a way that you can carry out the installation without any vehicle knowledge.
If you still need help and support, our service team is at your disposal. Every car workshop can also install the Speedkit in a short time.

4) Is a TÜV certificate available for the Speedkit??
No. Because thats one reason why you get the Speedkit so cheap.
Technically, the Speedkit would meet all requirements. Experience shows, however, that hardly a customer is interested in the TÜV approval - although the TÜV inspection after a technical change to the vehicle is essential and required by law.
The price-performance ratio is in the foreground of the Speedkit - look forward to it.

5) Can I use the Speedkit in other vehicles as well??
Yes. Prerequisite for this, however, is a diesel engine with common rail injection technology. Lets say you drive a BMW 330d and you also have a Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD.
No problem - you can use the same speedkit. All you need is a different cable set.

6) May I install the Speedkit in a company vehicle or a leased vehicle?
Yes - install already. You just have to coordinate this with the owner of the vehicle.

7) My vehicle still has factory warranty. Am I losing these?
Yes - under certain circumstances. This is handled very differently by the workshops and manufacturers. Some reject the factory warranty completely - others, however, limit exactly what damage can be caused by the tuning and which not.
You can avoid this discussion by simply expanding the Speedkit before a workshop visit.

8) Can I also pay my order on account?
No - we offer prepayment.

9) How long does it take to deliver from order?
This depends on your order type. Cash on delivery deliveries leave our house on the day of order and are usually with you the next day (all over Germany, with orders until 14:00 clock). With a prepayment or Paypal order you will receive immediately and online an email with the order confirmation and our bank details.
On the day of payment the package leaves our house.

10) Which parcel service is delivered?
Within Germany we ship with DHL (including transport insurance).
Abroad will be shipped based on availability with DHL also.

11) I am a dealer and would like to distribute your products. What should I do?
Please contact us directly by telephone and have your trade license ready.

12) How realistic are the performance figures?
The performance data refer to new vehicles which are technically in perfect condition and according to the practice.
We do not exaggerate, however, recognize again and again that the additional services are not provided by the tolerances of the installed items in the vehicle in some cases immediately. Among other things, the Speedkit can then be readjusted individually.

13) Why do other providers give higher performance increases?
For 95% of customers only 2 things lead to a purchase decision:
1) the price and 2) the performance indicated in the advertisement .... really bad
Correctly identified:
If exaggerated in the performance data in the advertising, this has nothing to do with the actual performance actually achieved in practice!
Because it is so specified "up to xx" and so it is "fine out" when the customer checks the performance times
In fact, the legislature sets a limit with 20% performance increase!
For larger performance increases, the entire vehicle technology (brakes, body strength, loads of wheels and tires, etc.) is questioned and must be checked separately by the TÜV.
By Chiptuning alone (electronically) are such performance increases actually anyway not possible - with no offerer.
In addition, the higher the additional power - the higher the risk of damage.

14) At what mileage can the Speedkit be used?
Basically always. Whether 10 km or 250,000 km, the Speedkit can always be used. Just make sure that the vehicle is in perfect technical condition.
However, if you use the Speedkit on vehicles under 2,000 km, we strongly recommend that you consider the break-in period of the manufacturer.

15) Is there the Speedkit with several power levels?
No ... or actually - hmm ....
The Speedkit is adjustable on the board in nine positions with 3% difference in performance.
So fabulous 27% - so much for the theory. In fact, however, it is the case in practice that the individually set Speedkit after delivery still max. 3 positions "tolerate more" - after that the vehicle sometimes goes into the emergency program. Thats a good thing, because it shows you that the vehicle manufacturers protective functions are completely active.
Incidentally, other providers can not do such functions! - because at some point the tolerance limits of the installed components in the vehicle are just exhausted
They only claim it once and as long as the customer does not recognize or prove the opposite, 95% of all customers just believe it - 5% are critical and check and then:
.... money back ........ advertising and marketing just ....
By the way: With the Speedkit the power setting in 13 steps costs no extra charge.

Already forgotten? ;-)
